Light Weight Concrete

Light Weight Concrete

In order to produce a hardened product with a lower unit weight than typical concrete with a density ranging from 600 to 1800 Kgs/CuM, concrete mixtures containing low density aggregate or foamed concrete are used. It can be utilised successfully to lower the structure's dead load.

Key Benefits
  • Reduction in dead loads which creates savings in foundation or reinforcement.
  • Better in Thermal & Sound insulation.
  • Improved fire resistance.
Applications
  • Sunk slabs
  • Roof Grading
  • Non-structural partition wall
Fiber Reinforced Concrete

Fiber Reinforced Concrete

Fiber Reinforced Concrete is a unique product with inherently enhanced resistance against tensile stresses which leads to shrinkage cracks at the initial and later stages of hardening of concrete. This is achieved by the introduction of polypropylene and polyester fibers. These fibers compensate for the lack of tensile strength of the concrete by taking the tensile stress themselves and preventing cracks.

Special Features
  • Very high resistance to shrinkage cracks.
  • Robust homogeneous mix.
Advantages
  • Control plastic and drying shrinkage cracks.
  • Control settlement cracks and micro-cracks.
  • Improves durability of the structure.
  • Better resistance against spalling during a fire.
  • Increased abrasion, fatigue and impact resistance of surface.
  • Better resistance against freeze and thaw.
  • Improves cohesion and other fresh concrete properties.
Applications
  • In regular slabs, slabs with lean sections and rooftops.
  • Concrete has high cement content, it is more prone to shrink.
  • Screeds, parking lot, CC roads, and walkways.
self compacting concrete

Self Compacting Concrete

Self-compacting concrete is a special concrete having self-flowing, self-levelling and self-consolidating properties developed to make the construction process easy, fast and efficient. At Shubham RMC we have developed self-compacting concrete using new generation admixtures technology allowing it to be self-flowing properties while maintaining low viscosities and yield stress of the mix without any segregation or bleeding.

It is one of the solutions for the noise-free placement of concrete with the challenging task of placing concrete in heavily reinforced structure sections & for the night concreting in the residential areas to reduce/eliminate the noise of vibrators.

Advantages
  • Self-levelling and consolidating.
  • Reduce man hours required for placement and finishing.
  • No vibration of concrete required.
  • Reduces noise by eliminating vibrators.
  • Easy placement of concrete.
  • Better surface finish.
Applications
  • Deep columns and shear walls.
  • Suitable for aluminium form shuttering.
  • Suitable for aluminium form shuttering.
  • Densely reinforced and lean sections.
  • Raft and deep foundations.
  • Complicated and intricate structures.
